The viscose based carbon fiber insulation felt developed and produced by the company uses viscose fibers as raw materials, and undergoes several major processes such as nonwoven needling, flame retardancy, pre oxidation, carbonization, graphitization, and quality inspection slitting to achieve a carbon content increase from 35% initially to over 99.95%, and a high temperature resistance improvement to 3000 ℃.
"We are the first enterprise in China to make viscose materials into the entire industrial chain, with our own core technology." The CTO of HNFO, Dr. Cai introduced that viscose is a type of textile material that is often used by the textile industry to make clothes that are comfortable and resistant to static electricity.
The R&D personnel transform viscose fibers into viscose based carbon fibers by adjusting the production process, changing the arrangement of carbon atoms and the performance of carbon elements in the viscose fibers. For example, a piece of clothing made of viscose burns up after being ignited. However, viscose based carbon fibers, due to their low thermal conductivity, are still root and root fibers at high temperatures, and do not curl, volatilize, or decompose.
"This 1cm thick viscose based carbon fiber insulation blanket can withstand a high temperature of up to 200 ℃." Dr. Cai casually picked up a piece of material and told us that if the thickness reached 20cm, it could withstand a high temperature of 3000 ℃.
The company's newly developed thermal insulation products have been used in clean workshops in the semiconductor industry, increasing the carbon content of products from 99.95% to 99.9999%, achieving a double leap in quality and quantity.
Product applications include solar photovoltaic, vacuum sintering, heat treatment, semiconductor, aerospace, and other fields…
