The nickel-based alloy 690 U-shaped heat transfer tube developed in China was successfully applied to the third generation ACP1000 nuclear power steam generator Hay:A04SHBG

On August 14, 2013, the third-generation ACP1000 nuclear power steam generator 690 alloy U-shaped heat transfer tube developed by China's SHBG high-performance alloy tube technology Corporation was successfully applied to China's ACP1000 nuclear power plant.

The technical performance index of the nickel-based alloy 690U-shaped heat transfer tube developed by the company has reached the advanced level of similar foreign pipes, and some of the performance is better than the foreign level.

After the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan, the third-generation nuclear power AP1000, ACP1000, CAP1400 and other technologies with higher safety, longer service life, and better economy have become the current and future development direction of civilian nuclear power.

Most of the key materials used in nuclear power in China still rely on imports, especially the nickel-based alloy 690U-shaped tube, which is the core key material of nuclear power steam generators. Due to its extremely special working environment, extremely demanding technical requirements, and extremely complicated process flow, Many well-known pipe manufacturing companies are discouraged.

In March 2011, SHBG and China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute began to jointly develop China's independent third-generation ACP1000 nuclear power steam generator nickel-based alloy 690U-shaped heat transfer tube. In more than two years, the scientific research teams of both sides have overcome difficulties and have broken through a number of technical difficulties.

At present, the third-generation ACP1000 nuclear power steam generator produced by SHBG uses 690 alloy U-shaped tubes. The product quality has reached the advanced level of similar foreign products, and some indicators have exceeded the foreign level.

SHBG, established in 2000, is currently the only two companies in China that have the manufacturing of nickel-based alloy 690U-shaped heat transfer tubes.

On December 20, 2008, SHBG's first supply contract of nickel-based alloy 690 U-shaped tubes for CPR1000 nuclear power unit was officially delivered.

On September 25, 2012, the steam generator of Unit 1 of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Project using 690 alloy U-shaped heat transfer tubes for the CPR1000 nuclear power steam generator produced by SHBG successfully completed the pipe penetration, marking the generation of nuclear power steam produced by Baoyin Company The localization of 690 alloy U-shaped heat transfer tube for the device has been successful.
