The perfluorinated proton exchange membrane production line invested by the supplier of Mercedes-Benz and Ford was successfully put into operation

On November 18th, SDDY Hydrogen Technology Group, the only hydrogen fuel cell perfluorinated proton membrane technology company in China, held a ceremony for the first phase of the 1.5 million square meter proton exchange membrane production line. This marks that SDDY has gone through 16 years of scientific research and has conducted practical technical cooperation with Mercedes-Benz and Ford, and has become one of the two companies in the world that can provide proton exchange membranes for mass production of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

It is also the only Chinese company with the largest market share after the two international giants, Gore and Chemours.

At present, SDDY has the world's most complete fuel cell perfluorinated proton membrane industry chain, and has a national key laboratory for fluorine-containing functional membrane materials, forming a complete intellectual property system covering raw materials, key intermediates, resins and proton exchange membranes. Among them, the proton membrane-forming polymer for hydrogen fuel cells won the 2019 China Patent Gold Award.

SDDY's 1.5 million square meter proton exchange membrane production line was put into operation in the first phase, enabling SDDY to form four major industrial sectors: fluorine, silicon, membrane, and hydrogen.
