The NMG Science and Technology Department of China announced the results of the 2020 scientific research project review. The "Rare Earth Supramolecular Sensor Material Industry Technology" project developed by BFXT Rare Earth Technology Group was listed as a key technology research project.

Nowadays, more and more small organic molecules, heavy metal ions, and volatile amines have been detected in soil, wastewater and other substances. These pollutants have seriously threatened the environment and human health. Research on the detection of these substances has attracted a lot of attention. Based on this, the "Rare Earth Supramolecular Sensing Material Industry Technology Development" project designed and synthesized a new type of rare earth supramolecular sensing material. The thin film made of this type of material can be used to detect small organic molecules and heavy metal ions in soil and waste water. And volatile amines can prevent pollutants from spreading to the environment in time. This technology has the advantages of simple operation, low cost, and reliable results.
