In 2014, the company developed the deep-liquid all-electric melting pool kiln and independently designed the all-electric melting furnace structure, which greatly improved the temperature uniformity of the basalt melt in the furnace, reduced energy consumption, and improved fiber quality uniformity; Innovatively improve the material and internal structure of the leak plate, high temperature creep resistance, improve the output and service life of the leak plate; screen and coordinate the basalt ore according to the concept of multiple uniform distribution, and change its chemical composition and mineral phase content , High-end specialty basalt fiber with high strength and high alkali resistance was prepared.
NJXC has developed the production process of thermoplastic epoxy resin basalt fiber composite material and the continuous preparation process of basalt fiber composite grid. The produced basalt fiber and its composite materials have been successfully used in China's highway engineering, the construction of the South Island Reef, and the reinforcement of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.
