The world’s largest 10,000-ton / year full-color green environmental protection rare earth pigment industrial base project started

The world's largest 10,000-ton / year full-color green environmental protection rare earth pigment industry base project invested and built by Inner Mongolia Kalesi Rare Earth Environmental Pigment Company was launched recently. The base project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan and is located in Jiuyuan Industrial Park, Baotou, Inner Mongolia. It uses two kinds of rare earth sulfide preparation technologies with independent intellectual property rights. The first phase of the project will build a 1,000-ton / year rare earth sulfide environmental protection pigment production line. At present, the project has requisitioned 260 acres of land, the project has been completed, and planning, environmental impact assessment and other procedures are being stepped up.

It is understood that, for a long time, inorganic pigments based on heavy metals such as cadmium-based and lead-based have been criticized and resisted due to their relatively high toxicity. In recent years, rare earth environmental protection pigments have quietly risen, and their recognition in the industry has also continued to increase.

Inner Mongolia Callus Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baotou Hongbote Co., Ltd. in the construction of a rare earth new material park in Inner Mongolia. Baotou Hongbote Company successfully acquired all the assets of NEOLOR's rare earth environmental pigments under the French Solvay brand in 2006, making it the only manufacturer in the world to industrially produce rare earth environmental pigments. At present, the company has more than 60 invention patents and 2 international product brands, and has successfully realized the industrialization of rare earth cerium sulfide pigment technology. It has built a production line device that can produce 4 varieties of rare earth environmental protection pigments per year.

Jia Yinsong, former director of the Rare Earth Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that the construction of a green and environmentally friendly rare earth pigment industry base in Inner Mongolia is of great significance. The application needs in the fields of chemicals have a promoting role.
