The company has more than 20 international advanced aluminum, magnesium, titanium light alloy materials and component manufacturing core technologies independently developed by the academician team from the Institute of Metals of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

 

The R&D team composed of more than 80 professors and doctors with Academician Zhong as the chief scientist and introduced international advanced inspection and detection instruments and equipment.

 

A laboratory with internationally advanced physical, chemical, mechanical and mechanical performance testing platform for materials and components and a multi-scale material analysis system from macro to micro has been built.

2195 aluminum lithium alloy and 2050 aluminum lithium alloy

 

This product adopts the semi continuous melting and casting process developed by HNZC, combined with the melt inert gas protection technology to effectively reduce the oxidation and hydrogen absorption of the aluminum lithium alloy melt, and ensure the high quality of the ingot.

 

The application of deep homogenization technology in ingots effectively eliminates defects and uneven ingot composition, dissolves coarse residual crystalline phase, and regulates dispersed phase particles.

 

The 2195 aluminum lithium alloy round ingot can be used to manufacture the structural parts of the tank of the launch vehicle, which can improve the delivery capacity of the launch vehicle.

 

2050 aluminum lithium alloy flat ingots can be used to manufacture aircraft fuselage wing load-bearing components, which is helpful to improve the performance of aircraft structural materials and reduce the overall structural weight of the aircraft.

 

The company’s existing forming technology to manufacture large integral thin-walled aluminum lithium alloy shell members has international problems such as easy cracking, poor dimensional accuracy and difficult deformation control.

 

The R&D team of the company took the rocket fuel tank bottom as the object, and carried out the research on the superplastic forming manufacturing technology of 2195 aluminum lithium alloy integrated tank bottom.

 

The preparation technology of 2195 aluminum lithium alloy superplastic sheet with a width of 1200mm has been established, and the elongation can reach 1100%. On this basis, an integral ellipsoidal box bottom with a diameter of 800 mm was trial manufactured.
