The BJHC Aeronautical Materials Science and Technology Research Institute was established in 1988. It is a comprehensive scientific research institution mainly engaged in basic research of aviation advanced materials application, material development and application technology research and engineering technology research. It is an important part of the national scientific and technological innovation system. There are more than 60 majors in 17 material technology fields, covering metal materials, non-metal materials, composite materials, material preparation and technology, material performance testing, characterization and evaluation, providing industry services such as standardization, failure analysis and material database. Materials, manufacturing, testing technology system and rich technology accumulation; continuous implementation of technological innovation and engineering application of two-wheel drive, now has 9 national key laboratories and engineering centers, 13 provincial and ministerial key laboratories and engineering centers , 6 overseas joint research centers, 4 national production demonstration lines.
