On September 22, Toray Advanced Composites announced the establishment of a Toray AmberTool® HX56 tooling prepreg distribution center in the United States to provide the local area with faster and more timely composite tooling technology. After the material is produced in the UK, it will be sent to the central US warehouse for storage in order to quickly respond to the needs of customers in North America. As the design and production of racing cars change rapidly, there are higher requirements for suppliers’ immediate supply capabilities.
Toray AmberTool® HX56 is a low-temperature curing epoxy prepreg, suitable for autoclave molding process with short molding time and high surface quality. It has good drape and is especially suitable for the production of racing components with complex geometric shapes. This prepreg product has served the European high-end racing market for more than two decades.
