UHT Unitech is a Taiwanese company with global microwave carbon fiber patents. It recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Spanish Foundation to research, develop and apply composite materials (FIDAMC) and the Taiwan Composites Association to develop space-grade carbon fiber materials. UHT Unitech intends to enter the Airbus supply chain through FIDAMC cooperation channels.
FIDAMC is a research center co-founded in 2006 by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, the Madrid Regional Government and Airbus Group (then EADS), focusing on the research and development of composite materials. In particular, FIDAMC and Airbus jointly developed a multifunctional design and manufacturing of fuselage components.
Last September, UHT Unitech won the CCE-JEC 2018 Innovation Award. During the JEC World Exhibition 2019, the company showed off its microwave recycling solution.
UHT Unitech released "Microwave Efficient Carbon Fiber Recovery and Recycling Technology" last year, "planning to enter the European and American markets with innovative business models combining profitability in a circular economy and environmental protection"
