Ultra-thin electronic substrate glass supplier Hay:B04LYBL

At 11:00 on April 28th, at the workshop of LYBL Electronic Glass Corporation, when the workers ignited a new glass melting furnace, the third generation information of LYBL showed that the ultra-thin substrate glass production line was successfully ignited. The production line has reached a number of international advanced or leading levels in terms of intelligence, greenness, and high-end. It indicates that “Luoyang Float” ultra-thin electronic glass “from excellent to excellent”.

The production line has a designed annual production capacity of 15.5 million square meters and mainly produces ultra-thin electronic substrate glass from 0.4 mm to 1.1 mm. It was built on the original site of the second-generation enhanced STN-level electronic glass production line through cold repair technology upgrades.

In recent years, the demand for ultra-thin electronic glass in markets such as smartphones and tablets has continued to increase. Ultra-thin electronic glass has special requirements on the thermal, mechanical, optical, and electrical performance indicators of the product, and also has strict requirements on geometric dimensions, appearance quality, and micro-waviness.

The project construction adopts a new design concept, uses a large number of new processes, new technologies, new materials, and new equipment. It has carried out technological transformation on more than 20 major projects and more than 140 small projects. A number of key production indicators have achieved significant breakthroughs.

Smarter: the introduction of industrial robots to achieve accurate classification and selection of glass, and improve the work efficiency of related processes by 40% to 50%.

Greener: The use of advanced combustion technology reduces the overall energy consumption by about 25%, and the relevant indicators reach international advanced levels.

High-end: The temperature fluctuation of the independently developed annealing kiln is controlled within 0.5 degrees Celsius, and the frying rate is less than 0.2%.

With constant gradient temperature drop forming process, the thickness difference of glass can be controlled within 0.02mm, which is much higher than the national standard requirements. Product quality has reached the international leading level.

The ultra-thin substrate glass produced by LYBL includes over 40 sizes ranging in thickness from 0.55mm to 1.1mm. The 1.1mm ITO electronic substrate glass produced by the company for a long time has a market share of 70% in China, making it the “Invisible Champion Type Company” in the field of ultra-thin substrate glass in China.

In 2001, China’s first ultra-thin float glass production line was ignited and put into production at LYBL Glass Co., Ltd., which successively produced 1.1-mm and 0.7-mm ultra-thin float glass, with various indicators reaching the world advanced level. Since then, LY has used its own innovative technology to build a second-generation enhanced STN-level electronic glass production line. After the related products were put on the market, the former “one big” foreign brand “converged” started to have high prices, and the prices of some products even dropped from more than 100 yuan per square meter to about 10 yuan quickly.

Especially last year, BB Building Materials Information Display Material Corporation a wholly-owned subsidiary of LYBL, rolled off the 0.12mm ultra-thin float electronic glass, creating the world’s thinnest glass production by float technology industrialization, becoming the only domestic producer with 0.12 High-tech enterprise with a full range of ultra-thin float electronic glass to 1.1 mm.

The ignition of this production line marks a new step for the transformation and upgrading of the “LY Float” process, which will inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of China’s float glass industry.
