Ultra-thin [0.015mm] stainless steel foil manufacturer won the award Hay:A05SXTG

On December 27, at the press conference of the 6th China Industry Awards, SXTG Stainless Steel Precision Strip Technology Group declared the “Wide Ultrathin Precision Stainless Steel Strip Process Technology and Series Products Project” and won the Project Category China Industry Award. This is also SXTG’s second award after winning the third “China Industry Awards” Enterprise Award in 2014.

Only a few countries in the world can produce wide width precision ultra-thin stainless steel strips and foils. Since 2016, SXTG has organized an innovative R&D project team to carry out joint research. It has experienced more than 700 test failures, overcome more than 170 equipment problems and more than 450 process problems, and achieved a series of major breakthroughs in key processes and manufacturing technologies. Successfully produced stainless steel precision strips with a thickness of 0.015-0.02 mm and a width of 600 mm. The product quality has reached the international leading level. Therefore, SXTG has become the only company in the world that can mass produce wide ultra-thin precision stainless steel strips and foils.

At present, the product has been exported in batches to high-end markets such as Germany and Japan.

After that, the R&D team successfully developed a new generation of 5G high-end electronic precision strip flexible screen steel and low-magnetic high-strength ultra-flat materials, which led to the development of a series of major surface deep-processing technologies such as superconductivity and micro-hole processing. The development direction of the world’s stainless steel ultra-thin strip steel. At present, the project has 44 national patents, including 13 invention patents. The national standard of “ultra-thin stainless steel foil” is being drafted by SXTG.
