In 2017, JSRX Technology Co., Ltd. made a comprehensive acquisition of the United States UP company located in central Colorado, USA. This US company has multiple patents, and its core product is a flexible mesh touch screen. According to market research agency IHS forecast, the flexible screen market will expand 250 times in the next seven years, and annual shipments will increase from the current 3 million to 800 million. At the same time, the total revenue of the global flexible screen market will increase from $ 10 billion to $ 410 billion. JSRX will immediately carry out localized R & D and production in China after it has saved its revenue, hoping to open up the domestic market.
Fill domestic gaps, target "ten billion" in 6 years
In the production hall, Mike Morrione, chief operating officer of JSRX, showed reporters the latest samples. It was a transparent plastic film, as thin as paper, and looked very ordinary. "Don't underestimate this film, it can greatly improve the light transmittance and electrical conductivity of the product. At present, the test results can reach a bending radius of 2 mm, and the resistance value remains the same after repeated folding 240,000 times. There is no domestic Enterprises can produce products with the same parameters. If used on a folding smartphone, the stability will be greatly improved. "Mike Morion said.
The reporter learned that this metal grid touch sensor has a wide range of applications, and can be used in mobile terminals, wearable devices, smart home appliances, smart cars, industrial touch, etc.
Mike Morion told reporters that a few years ago, more than 30 companies around the world were involved in research and development of this technology, but only 3 of them finally achieved mass production, except JSRX and Japan's Fuji Film Corporation (FujiFilm) and Toppan. At present, JSRX has owned and is applying for more than 60 technical patents, including technical inventions and core equipment inventions. "Our complete set of equipment is shipped from the United States, and the machinery and equipment alone is worth 200 million yuan."
The reporter also learned that during the commissioning of the equipment, JSRX has received cooperation intentions from Xiaomi, Lenovo and other companies, and well-known domestic touch film project companies such as Emerald, Ophir, and BOE have also expressed strategic cooperation intentions.
According to the planning goals, the company's output value will exceed 5 billion yuan in 2023, and the company will be listed on the market; in 2025, it will become an intelligent manufacturing enterprise with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan.
