US OceanGate company built new carbon fiber / titanium alloy manned submersible Cyclops

The American OceanGate Expedition Company recently announced that it will build two "Cyclops" class manned submersibles to meet the growing demand for deep-sea exploration, scientific research, and commerce. The newly built Cyclops 3 and Cyclops 4 will use the same carbon fiber / titanium alloy structural design as the "Titan" (Cyclops 2) submersible. And the carbon fiber winding cylinder, the central part of the pressure chamber is made of 800 layers of carbon fiber winding, the winding cylinder is about 12.7cm thick. The maximum design depth of Cyclops 3 and Cyclops 4 is 6000 meters, which is twice that of the Titan, and it can adapt to 98% of the world ’s seas. The Titan has previously carried out a 4000-meter manned deep dive verification, which fully verified the reliability of the carbon fiber / titanium alloy structure and hull health real-time monitoring system.
