SHXL Die Steel Technology Co., Ltd. is jointly invested and constructed by the China Advanced Tool and Die Materials and Application Technology R&D team and SH University. It is a key project of China’s "13th Five-Year Plan" "Basic Material Improvement and Industrialization" and "High Performance Tool and Die Steel" The industrialization demonstration platform of "and application" is dedicated to the industrialization and marketization of the results of the mold steel R&D team of SH University.
SHXL focuses on the R&D, production, testing, sales and technical services of high-end mold steel. The goal is to break the monopoly of foreign mold steel products in the high-end market in China, improve the quality and reputation of domestic mold steel products, and gradually replace imports to serve the Chinese mold manufacturing industry. Upgrade and transformation provide strong support.
The company's R&D team is currently a large-scale and highly professional tool and die materials and application technology research team in China. It has 8 professors, 12 associate professors, and 30 doctors. It has established a complete mold steel R&D and evaluation laboratory. The team has always adhered to the market-oriented, application-based scientific research starting point and goal, combined with the major needs of the company, keeping up with the development of international high-performance metal materials, and through comprehensive cooperation with the company, it has successively undertaken the "Eleventh Five-Year" country The scientific and technological support plan project and the "13th Five-Year" national key research and development plan project "High-performance tool steel and application", scientific research project funds totaled more than 80 million yuan, published more than 240 academic papers at home and abroad, and obtained invention patent authorization 18 items and 3 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards. The R&D team has developed SD series die steel products, covering cold work die steel, hot work die steel, plastic die steel, high-speed tool steel, all with independent intellectual property rights, and some products have applied for national invention patents.
Relying on strong research and development capabilities, the company has the ability to control the life cycle quality of mold materials and technical services, from the smelting, electroslagging, forging of mold raw materials to the heat treatment of molds, and two-way inspection to ensure the quality of raw materials. Use advanced mold material technology to provide users with vacuum heat treatment, surface induction treatment, mold nitriding, oxynitriding treatment, PVD coating treatment, low temperature plasma boronizing, mold material selection, mold material evaluation and testing, mold failure analysis and mold repair, etc. Applied technology, strive to increase the service life of molds and improve product quality.
