On June 10, WACKER officially launched a new silicone elastomer production line in Zhangjiagang, China. The production line will have thousands of tons of annual production capacity, which will provide strong support for WACKER's future business growth in China and increase the supply of high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (HCR) in the Asia-Pacific region.
The tens of millions of euros of expansion project, equipped with two world-class mixing equipment, can produce high-quality HCR product series.
The new production line is located in a newly built complex covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. The production line is equipped with the world's largest mixing equipment of the same size in the industry. Its mixing and screening equipment and advanced waste treatment technology also ranks first in the industry in terms of production efficiency and sustainable development. The new production line will help shorten lead times, increase market response time, and optimize the customer experience as a whole.
