Webast's CV standard battery system is designed for overall scalability and configuration flexibility. Each battery pack has an energy of 35 kWh. Up to 10 battery packs can be used for a total energy of 350 kWh. The system has two versions of 400V and 800V, which can be easily configured through the vehicle interface box (VIB). VIB is the main battery management system and power distribution device. The system is a true plug-and-play system that reduces development time and costs for automakers.
Within the battery pack, the stand-alone battery module also includes a desiccant box to reduce condensation, an integrated thermal runaway detection sensor, and a state-of-the-art pressure balance monitor for added safety. The battery pack is very compact and energy-intensive, and can be easily configured by engineers for almost all vehicle platforms.
