In March 2019, at the 148th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Materials, Metallurgy and Minerals (TMS) held in the United States, Academician Lu Ke, Director of the National Research Center for Materials Science of Shenyang, was awarded the "Acta Materialia Gold Medal 2019" in recognition of his Groundbreaking research and outstanding leadership in materials research in the field of nanometal materials.
