Aluminum Alloy Integral Forging Ring Boost Aerospace Hay:T03HNZC

On January 11, 2024, at 13:30, China used the Gravity 1 launch vehicle to successfully place three satellites, Yunyao 1 Star 18-20, into their intended orbits, using the rocket used for the flight test, which is the world’s largest solid carrier rocket in terms of capacity.

Among them, the key components of the gravity rocket use the aluminum alloy integral forging ring and several specifications and varieties of high-quality forging products developed and produced by HNZC Aerospace Materials Technology, accounting for more than 90% of the aluminum required for the structure of the rocket body.

One of the main factors affecting the rocket’s capacity is the weight of the shell, and aluminum alloy is the best material. The aluminum alloy forgings developed and produced by HNZC fully meet the weight and strength requirements of the Gravity 1 shell, leaving a sufficiently large space for the rocket’s carrying capacity.

HNZC and China Aerospace reached a cooperation in 2022, under the technical support of Academician Zhong Nugui’s team, joint development of high-performance materials and structural component technologies for extreme operating conditions,The team has successfully overcome the elongation, yield strength, tensile strength and other material performance problems, and the final product performance has reached the first-class level in the international arena, and it has become the sturdy “outer shell” of Gravitational One rocket.

In recent years, HNZC has established technical and product cooperation with a number of head enterprises in the aerospace field, such as China Aerospace Science and Technology, China Aerospace Science and Technology, and China Zhongke Aerospace…
