Recently, the 2Cr12Ni4Mo3VNbN and B50A789G megawatt-class high-end large size turbine blade steel developed by PGTG successfully passed the incoming inspection of WXTP Blade Technology Corporation (“WXTP”) and the process adaptability verification of blade forgings, and met the performance requirements of the relevant WXTP specifications.
PGTG has successfully obtained the certificates of conformity for two products issued by WXTP, and has become a qualified supplier of 2Cr12Ni4Mo3VNbN and B50A789G steels for WXTP’s turbine blades.
2Cr12Ni4Mo3VNbN and B50A789G steels for large blades are martensitic stainless steels improved on the basis of CrNiWMo-V type and precipitation hardenability, which are mainly used for 1200 mm final turbine large blades of turbines of steam turbines of mega-kilowatt nuclear power plants, and the qualification for supply of this material by WXTP lays a solid foundation for PGTG to enter into the market of high-end turbine blade steels.
