On December 31, HBST Alloy Material Technology, a manufacturer of aluminum-based alloys, copper-based alloys, zinc-based alloys, magnesium-based alloys, and aerospace-grade special intermediate alloys, announced that the company and the Rare Earth R & D Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as ” “Rare Earth Center”) Through friendly consultations, the two parties decided to jointly build a research and development center for rare earth aluminum and rare earth magnesium alloys (including intermediate alloys), focusing on research and development of new technologies and products for rare earth aluminum and magnesium alloys.
According to the agreement, the “Rare Earth R & D Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences-HBST Rare Earth Aluminum (Magnesium) Alloy Application R & D Center” will be jointly established by the Rare Earth Center and HBST. The R & D center establishes “HBST R & D Application Base of Baotou Rare Earth R & D Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences” at HBST. The R & D center focuses on the key R & D directions. The two parties jointly negotiate to determine the research projects carried out by the R & D center and sign a project cooperation agreement. The two sides rely on the Rare Earth Center to jointly apply for national research and development and industrialization projects. The Rare Earth Center provides technical and existing support to the identified research projects, and HBST provides corresponding funding, equipment, personnel and other conditions to the identified research projects.
