Ukrainian Antonov Company has signed a titanium semi-finished product supply agreement with China's leading titanium alloy material manufacturer: CQJ Aerospace Materials Technology Corporation. The titanium alloy material obtained will be used to assemble the An-178 transport aircraft.
According to data from Ukraine’s public electronic procurement system ProZorro, the Ukrainian side signed a contract for the supply of 20 tons of semi-finished titanium alloys on July 26, including 38 commodity names. According to speculation, the transportation markings of some of these components indicate that they will be used to assemble the An-178-100R transport aircraft. The deposit for the entire contract reached nearly 1.6 million U.S. dollars, and (the Chinese side) will complete the delivery within 180 days.
