On November 3, the carbon fiber continuous sucker rod lifting technology developed by HN Oilfield Engineering Institute was successfully applied in Shuang 8-137 well of the first oil production plant in the oilfield.
The carbon fiber continuous sucker rod is made of new composite materials such as resin, glass fiber, carbon fiber, etc. It has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, etc. It has a significant application effect in the aspects of deep pumping, oil preservation, life extension, energy saving and consumption reduction. The Oilfield Engineering Institute has made careful preparations from material preparation, laboratory testing of supporting tools to scheme optimization design to ensure the successful implementation of the technology.
