The world-renowned German technology group Freudenberg has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity of Filc. Filc produces needle punched nonwoven fabrics and laminates, which are mainly used in the automotive and construction industries.
Filc is a private company and is headquartered in the Slovenian Skofija Loka (? Kofja Loka, Slovenia). The company has two production sites in Menge? And Lendava, Slovenia, and a sales office in Dayton, Ohio. Filc has nearly 360 employees. The transaction requires approval from the antitrust authorities.
