The market demand for special light sources is stable, and domestic enterprises are gradually taking over some overseas enterprise markets. In the field of high-end electric light source quartz tubes, domestic companies are currently moving towards special light sources that are difficult to replace with LEDs, such as agricultural plant growth lamps, curing lamps, UV germicidal lamps, projection lamps, laser lamps, semiconductor cleaning lamps and other high-end electric light source quartz material markets. Demand continues to grow steadily. As one of the main bulb materials of quartz electric light source products, the quartz tube will continue to develop smoothly in the future.
According to industry research, the global market for quartz for electric light sources in 2017 is about 300-400 million yuan, and it is basically a domestic monopoly. Considering the increasing penetration of LEDs, we expect that the global scale of quartz for electric light sources in 18-20 years will be basically the same as 2017 and slightly decline.
