China’s leading manufacturer of para-aramid fiber composite materials and products “ZZHX High Performance Composite Materials Technology Group” issued an announcement:
The new production line of the ZZHX high-performance aramid material and product industrialization project has completed the equipment installation and is currently in the commissioning stage. It is expected to be officially put into production within the year and can replace similar foreign imported products in the future.
High-performance aramid material products can be widely used in aviation, aerospace, transportation and other fields, such as rail transit. It can effectively reduce the energy consumption and noise of high-speed trains. It is also an important high-temperature insulation material for high-speed railways with a speed of 200 km/h. The above trains need to use a lot of aramid paper honeycomb materials.
As a leader in the field of high-performance aramid fibers, ZZHX has been seeking solutions for domestic substitution of high-end aramid materials. After more than ten years of technical research, the company’s R&D team and related teams from South China University of Technology have developed products that break foreign technology blockades and overcome key production process technical bottlenecks.
In February 2017, the ZZHX high-performance aramid material and product industrialization project officially started construction, with a total investment of 338 million yuan. One production line can produce 3,200 tons of high-performance aramid paper per year.
