Arkema's company Bostik, through its joint venture Bostik-Nitta, completed the acquisition of Nitta-Gelatin's industrial adhesives business in Japan.
After the acquisition, Bostik-Nitta will invest in a new adhesive factory in Japan to help Bostik accelerate its development, especially in the fast-growing sanitary nonwovens
Markets, as well as packaging, labeling, transportation and electronics industries.
Therefore, Akma is actively pursuing the strategy of developing adhesives, which will also be one of the main driving forces for its long-term future development.
