This award-winning 9.4-inch high-resolution flexible Micro LED display was jointly developed by AUO and Suntron Technology. Through high-speed mass transfer technology, As many as 5.5 million Micro LEDs smaller than 30um were successfully transferred to the LTPS flexible backplane, reaching the world's highest pixel density of 228 PPI in the same size, showing high dynamic contrast performance and highly saturated brilliant colors, and flexible Flexibility, easy bending, high weather resistance, and flexible appearance greatly enhance product design freedom.
From R&D to application, AUO has also successfully introduced Micro LED into the automotive market, taking the lead in launching a flexible Micro LED center console panel in 2020 SID Display Week. With an ultra-high pixel density of 228 PPI, it can achieve fine, high-dynamic contrast performance and brilliant colors. .
AUO further said that it is composed of two 9.4-inch panels and has an S-shaped curve, which is more suitable for integrated and streamlined car interiors, giving higher design flexibility. In addition, the high-brightness characteristics of Micro LED can overcome the changing driving environment and ensure the best sight quality. The flexible substrate is made of non-fragile material, which can also improve driving safety.
