AZLA’s SednaEarfit XELASTEC headphones will use KRAIBURG TPE thermoplastic elastomer material

Headphones are the core of audio equipment's sound quality and listening experience, and are an important part of headphones. When South Korean headphone and audio equipment manufacturer AZLA was looking for materials for its new SednaEarfit XELASTEC earphones, it chose a high-quality thermoplastic elastomer from KRAIBURG TPE to achieve better matching of the earphones while maintaining sound quality . XELASTEC is AZLA's first earphone made entirely of thermoplastic elastomer.

Mr. Ashulley Lee, CEO of AZLA, said: “Based on our research, we have found that the average use time of true wireless stereo systems (TWS) and headphones is getting longer and longer. In 2019, we decided to develop XELASTEC headphones, which can be worn for a long time. Without putting pressure on the ears."

Mr. Ashulley Lee added: "We have purchased many materials and after in-depth research, we have determined that the compound of KRAIBURG TPE has good material properties and meets international safety standards. We have worked closely with KRAIBURG TPE to develop XELASTEC headphones."

AZLA designed XELASTEC earphones by analyzing ear canal samples and used this information to develop suitable earphones to improve the sound insulation effect.

The Krebsburg thermoplastic elastomer material is soft and easy to bend. By reducing shell vibration and providing excellent comfortable fit for the ears, the performance of audio equipment is greatly improved. Thermoplastic elastomers have high durability, high elasticity and resilience properties, non-toxic properties, good fatigue resistance and excellent temperature resistance.

During the entire development process of XELASTEC headphones, about 182,000 headphones and 12 trial models were studied. Mr. Ashulley Lee emphasized, "We have invested a lot of time and energy in developing XELASTEC headsets to meet strict standards and requirements."

Standards compliant

Xidenet XELASTEC uses thermoplastic elastomers that comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations (raw material compliance)-Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 21 and standard EN71/3 and EU regulations No. 10/2011, considering the use Security.

Since the earphones are in direct contact with the fragile ear canal for a long time, the KRAIBURG TPE material was selected not only because of its special acoustic properties, but also because it is suitable for skin contact.

In addition, its high transparency, weather resistance and chemical resistance, as well as hypoallergenic and low compression set properties make KRAIBURG TPE material a good choice for SednaEarfit XELASTEC.

Soft and comfortable to the touch

Kraberg's thermoplastic elastomer composite material is soft to the touch and brings comfort to the wearer. The thermoplastic elastomer material also provides flexibility and elasticity, making the ears more fit and sound insulation better.

SednaEarfit XELASTEC can maintain its original shape at room temperature, but when it is placed on the ear, it will slightly change its shape to conform to the contour of the ear by exaggerating the active response of the molecule to the individual's body temperature.

In addition, the thermoplastic elastomer compound minimizes resonance by tightly fixing the headphone nozzles, thereby improving the fit of the headphone.

The simple assembly of SednaEarfit XELASTEC earphones and earphones provides convenience for users. XELASTEC earphones have all these functions, and together with earphones provide a comfortable listening experience.
