Blackloud headphones: FM radio for iPhone

The new wired headset from Blackloud provides an easier way to access local FM radio. When downtime is owed or there is no signal, traditional FM radio may be a good way to keep you receiving information. The Blackloud AF1 FM headset works by building its FM tuner in a control box and the cable is used as an antenna.

The headset is plugged into the iPhone through the Lightning jack (the company also plans to launch a USB Type-C model for Android phones next year), and control radio playback through the companion app.

This is a more useful solution for the iPhone, and many Android smartphones have built-in FM receivers. The company that designed the product stated in promotional materials that FM receivers for mobile phones are probably the most useful self-rescue solution when natural disasters strike. Earlier, American agencies also called for not to remove the existing broadcast communication module in the mobile phone. (But they don't seem to explain how the power supply should be resolved?)

Blackloud AF1 FM headphones are now available directly from Blackloud for $ 79.89.
