BMW M8 Competition features plenty of carbon fiber trim

Some foreign media exposed a set of real car maps of the BMW M8 Competition. Compared with the ordinary M8, M8 Competition adds a lot of carbon fiber trim and aerodynamic kit. The new car may be officially released at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2019, or it may be unveiled at a private tasting.

The body of the M8 Competition has a carbon fiber roof, rear diffuser, rear wing, etc., which can help the body reduce weight and enhance the appearance of sports. The new car is equipped with laser headlights, supplemented by blue trim.

In terms of power, the M8 Competition will be equipped with a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 engine. According to foreign media speculation, the maximum output of the engine may be 650 horsepower. In terms of models, the European market will have a 840d diesel version, while the model sold to the world is the M850i.
