Braskem's UHMW polyethylene plant in Texas is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of the year. Earlier this year, Braskem added the UTEC brand R & D center in the company's Innovation and Technology Center in Zuzburg, expanding its technological leadership in the field of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, providing test equipment, application development and new product research.
