The British company AESSEAL has recently launched a bearing protector of type MagTecta-S ™. This type of bearing protector uses the company's proprietary magnetic sealing technology, so it can eliminate more than half of bearing failures.
The MagTecta-S ™ bearing protector combines the technical advantages of the company's two existing products, MagTecta ™ and LabTecta®, making it one of the most reliable and cost-effective bearing protection products on the market.
If the pump and other rotating equipment fail, then more than 20% may be a problem with the bearing, and it is most likely contaminated with bearing oil. In general, inefficiencies in the lip seal process can lead to contaminated bearings.
The use of magnetically excited contact surface technology and oil protection technology prevents the loss of bearing oil and prevents the intrusion of harmful liquids, moisture and particles. In addition, MagTecta-S ™ does not experience shaft wear and does not require routine maintenance, thus greatly reducing operating costs.
