In April 2013, China took the lead in successfully developing the high-model ZM40J (M40J grade) graphite fiber, which has a tensile strength much higher than that of imported M40J graphite fiber of the same level, and achieved engineering and stable preparation.

Since April 2014, the company's ZT7 series (higher than T700 grade) carbon fibers have entered a stable supply stage, and research and development of higher-performance carbon fibers has been carried out.

In August 2015, the first domestically developed ZT9 series (T1000 / T1100 grade) high-strength medium model carbon fiber, its tensile strength and tensile modulus exceeded T800 carbon fiber, especially the tensile modulus exceeding T1100 carbon fiber, which can be used as autonomous The replacement carbon fiber material is designed to meet the application requirements of the new generation of aerospace models.

In 2017, the company started to develop T1100 carbon fiber technology, and has made breakthrough progress.

In April 2017, the company broke through the M55J and M60J high-strength and high-modulus carbon fiber preparation technology and is undergoing large-scale transformation of the project;

In May 2018, M55J high-strength and high-modulus carbon fiber passed the inspection and acceptance organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The company's ZT7 series has been applied in the eight major aerospace models. At the same time, a small number of samples are provided for trial and evaluation of other aerospace models and production departments such as weapons and nuclear industries. In the civil field, the company's products have passed civilian helicopters and wind power blades (same as Guangwei), and the civilian consumption is expected to exceed 1,000 tons / year.

The company and ZH Composite Materials Co., Ltd. jointly develop domestically-produced T700-grade carbon fiber in the field of rail transit applications and demonstration projects.

The gradual expansion of T700 carbon fiber produced by WHGW Carbon Fiber Technology Group and JSHS Carbon Fiber Technology Group in the aerospace field has weakened to a certain extent the monopolistic position of Japan, Europe and the United States in the field of high performance carbon fiber. Some domestic carbon fiber companies have basically achieved technological breakthroughs in T700 and T800 carbon fibers, but there are certain gaps in indicators such as stability and product dispersion compared with foreign superior companies.

Advantages: The ZT7 series carbon fiber produced by the company has stood out from the market competition with many competitors in terms of quality standards and stability of engineering production. It has become one of the very few carbon fiber companies in China that can rely on carbon fiber products for profit. The mechanical properties of ZT7 series carbon fiber are between that of Toray T700 grade in Japan and IM7 in the United States. The tensile modulus is higher than that of Toray T700 grade carbon fiber, and the overall performance is better than that of Toray T700S grade carbon fiber in Japan. ZT7 series carbon fiber does not pursue a single index of the product but pursues a comprehensive balance and the best match with the resin. The mechanical properties of most of the composite materials of ZT7 series and a resin exceed Japan's Toray T700S, forming a new generation of aviation composite material system. CV value is a key indicator to measure the quality stability of carbon fiber. The company's main product ZT7 series carbon fiber has excellent CV value. For the first time in China, a close combination of material quality stability and material performance has been achieved. The quality stability of ZT7 series carbon fiber is better than T700S grade carbon fiber that can be imported in China, and it is also better than other domestic carbon fibers of the same type developed in the same period. Development goals in the past two years: On the basis of stable supply of existing production lines, build a 1,000-ton industrial production line that is compatible with the production of high-performance carbon fibers such as T700 / T800, and further expand applications in high-end areas such as aerospace equipment. Reduce costs and realize the application of domestic high-performance carbon fibers in civil aviation, wind power equipment, automobile manufacturing, rail transportation and other mid-to-high-end civil fields.

In August 2018, a 3,000-ton oxidized carbonization production line and its supporting facilities that are compatible with various high-performance carbon fiber products of the T700-T1100 grade will be completed, forming a pattern that can compete with the superior companies in Japan and the United States in carbon fiber production. The leading position in the carbon fiber field The ten-year development goal is to build a 10,000-ton carbon fiber industrialized production line. At the same time, it will introduce downstream manufacturers of carbon fiber to achieve domestic carbon fiber and its application technology at the same time.
