The ITO target material is a tile-gray ceramic semiconductor material formed by a series of production processes of indium oxide and tin powder mixture, sintered in a high-temperature atmosphere, and vaporized and sputtered onto a glass substrate or a flexible glass substrate by magnetron sputtering.
Xiong Mingxiang, general manager of ZZAT, introduced that ITO targets are not only used to make liquid crystal displays, various flat panel displays, touch screens, electronic paper, organic light-emitting diodes, but also used for solar cells, antistatic coatings, and transparent conductive coatings for EMI shielding.
Strengthen technical strength with talent advantages. According to Xiong Mingxiang, the company has hired academicians Qian Yong and Xie Jianxin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering as the company's chief scientists, established academician workstations, and has three-dimensional technical strength from R&D to full-process manufacturing.
Products enter the four major Chinese large-scale panel manufacturers
On November 10, ZZAT signed a cooperation agreement and a supply agreement with CEC Panda Flat Panel Display Technology Co., Ltd. This means that ZZAT's target products have fully entered the four major Chinese panel manufacturers of BOE, Huaxing Optoelectronics, Huike, and CLP Panda, as well as leading domestic and foreign companies such as AHKS Photovoltaic Glass Technology and Tianjin CSG, and achieved mass production.
"ITO high-purity functional target products have to enter high-end panel companies, with high technical barriers, long test and trial periods, and the supply chain needs to go through layers of screening and evaluation tests. It usually takes about two years. The long period of four or five years is also possible. Because of its excellent performance, ZZAT products are often qualified in one test, and all tests can be completed within half a year, with all indicators reaching or even better than the level of imported products." Xiong Mingxiang said.
While rapidly promoting products, the company also accelerated the construction of the "special high-purity functional target" project. This project, which started construction in March last year, has high hopes. It plans to build a research and development, production and sales base for various high-end coating materials for liquid crystal and flat panel displays such as ITO targets, molybdenum targets, copper targets, and titanium targets. After the project is completed, ZZAT will be built into China's largest, most comprehensive, and internationally well-known target production base.
According to Xiong Mingxiang, the main construction of the project has been completed, and some equipment has been commissioned. At present, the company's production capacity is about 120 tons. After the special high-purity functional target project is put into production next year, the production capacity is expected to reach 500 tons (ITO) targets and 300 tons of various metal targets in about three years, and sales revenue can be realized 1.5 billion yuan after full production.
