Commercial grade aramid honeycomb is manufactured from aramid paper (or equivalent) and coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin (MIL-R-9299).

Aviation grade aramid paper honeycomb core
Aerospace grade aramid honeycomb is manufactured from aerospace grade aramid paper and coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin(MIL-R-9299).
