China PTFE Resin Technology Company successfully developed expanded PTFE microfiltration membrane for N95 mask Hay:F07SCZH

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China announced the 2020 National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise List. SCZH Polymer Technology Group is on the list, becoming one of the 600 companies on the list in China.

The identification of China's national technological innovation demonstration enterprises is a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of enterprises in terms of innovation input, talent incentives, technological accumulation and reserve, technological innovation output and benefits. Since the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly launched the selection of technological innovation demonstration enterprises in 2011, only 600 national high-tech innovation demonstration enterprises have been recognized and passed the rolling review.

 

In 1999, SCZH, which has a deep scientific and technological background, started to develop the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements with fluorine rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene resin as breakthrough points.

In February 2020, after the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, melt blown cloth, a key material for masks, was in short supply across the country. SCZH used its own core technology to develop mask materials to replace melt blown cloth. It took only one week from research and development to passing the test, and the high-tech material-expanded polytetrafluoroethylene microfiltration membrane was successfully applied in the production of masks. Tests by the national authority show that the mask has a filtration efficiency of 99.2%, and can withstand washing, disinfection and other procedures, and can be used repeatedly.

 

SCZH has always adhered to independent innovation as the foundation of the Institute, and is committed to building a model project for organic fluorine materials technology to be self-reliant. A number of technologies have filled the gap in China. For more than 20 years, SCZH has achieved more than 600 scientific research results, including more than 200 national and provincial achievement awards, and has a large number of internationally advanced patented technologies with independent intellectual property rights, and has a nationally recognized enterprise technology center and a province of organic fluorine materials. The three major research and development platforms, including the national key laboratory, undertake the research and development of a number of national and provincial projects around the national strategy. At the same time, they also attract a large number of high-level scientific and technological personnel to continuously participate in scientific research. Just last month, SCZH's "a pulverizing equipment and pulverizing method for suspension PTFE resin" also won the first prize of Sichuan Patent Award.
