Recently, China's high-end steel manufacturer: LNTG High Performance Steel Material Technology Corporation successfully commercialized JMFeCo16 bars that can replace imported soft magnetic alloys. The product quality has reached the international level. The company's soft magnetic alloy product series has added new members.
The JMFeCo16 alloy bars currently used in the Chinese market mainly rely on imports, and there is no relevant production technology data to learn from. At the end of 2020, the company and its customers have carried out the first trial production of JMFeCo16 alloy bars through multiple detailed preliminary technical exchanges. In order to scientifically design the alloy composition and production process, LNTG’s technicians combined their previous technical experience in the production of soft magnetic alloys and collected foreign imports, and systematically analyzed the physical quality level of the imported materials. During the product trial production process, the technical staff followed up and guided the whole process, and the trial production work was successfully completed. The first trial sample passed the customer's raw material acceptance and use verification at one time, and the various indicators met the customer's use requirements.
In 2021, customers will order JMFeCo16 rods in large quantities from LNTG, and the length of the rods is required to be between 5000 and 6000 mm. Due to the large order quantity and the specified requirements for product length, the original production process is not suitable for the new production requirements. In response to this, the LNTG technicians re-planned the production process based on the experience of the first trial production, combined with the equipment and process of mass production. Due to the high brittleness of the alloy, the narrow temperature range, and the long production process, it is very prone to problems such as brittle fracture during the surface treatment process. In the face of challenges, LNTG’s technical team supervised all aspects of the production process through technological and production process innovation, and finally successfully completed the mass production delivery of JMFeCo16 alloy bars, which once again won the satisfaction and praise of customers, and at the same time In the future, the company has accumulated rich production experience in the development of localization of similar soft magnetic alloy products.
