Semiconductor silicon material processing products produced by HFHM Precision Industry (Hefei) Co., Ltd. integrated circuit supporting industrial park construction project have entered the stage of sample production, which will fill the gap in domestic high-end silicon component products.
HFHM Precision is a joint venture established by Taiwan ’s well-known semiconductor company HM Technology and ZJ Research Co., Ltd. In the later period, the world's top 500 companies-Japan's Mitsubishi Materials also plan to participate in the investment. The total investment of the project is 30 million US dollars. Production and manufacturing of silicon rings and wafers, the project fills a domestic gap in high-end silicon component products, and will supply TOKYO ELECTRON LTD., The world's second largest semiconductor equipment company.
The first phase of the project covers an area of 2,000 square meters and is currently in the stage of sample trial production and verification. Trial production is planned for the fourth quarter of this year. According to the plan, the project output value will reach 200 million yuan in 2022, and the silicon materials produced can meet the supply demand of half of the domestic market.
