BJMD focuses on the development of medical equipment and high-end consumables for cardiovascular diseases. The products that have been developed include: soft tissue retractors, occluders, delivery systems, coronary stents, traction guide wires, radio frequency systems, strippers, heart stabilizers, auricle clips, biological valves, biological materials, etc.
So far, BJMD has successfully developed 19 innovative products, of which 11 products have been registered by the domestic drug administration, and 3 products have obtained European CE registration.
The cardiovascular circuit has always been the segment with the largest capacity in the high-value medical consumables market, while BJMD focuses on blue ocean circuits such as structural heart disease, congenital heart disease, and arrhythmia.
According to statistics, there are more than 2 million patients with congenital heart disease in China, and there is currently a lack of interventional stents and valve products suitable for children. The internationally pioneered Pul-Stent developed by BJMD meets urgent clinical needs.
In addition to the interventional treatment of congenital heart disease, BJMD has also mastered core technologies in the field of surgical atrial fibrillation treatment and biological tissue repair through innovation, filling the technical gap in the treatment of related diseases at home and abroad. Many of its products are the first in China, and they are the only products that replace imported products in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and interventional treatment of congenital heart disease in China.
