Recently, GXYH Aluminum Technology Group's first trial-produced 2XXX series hard aluminum alloy hot-rolled coils successfully rolled off the production line, and various performance indicators reached the expected goals. Following the successful trial production of 7XXX series cemented carbide hot rolled coils for the first time in August, the first trial production of 2XXX series cemented carbide hot rolled coils also achieved success.
2XXX series aluminum alloys are hard aluminum alloys with excellent heat resistance and processing properties, and are mainly used in aerospace, rail transit and other fields. Due to its high brittleness, this alloy is prone to head and tail tearing and edge cracking during the rolling process, making production difficult.
In order to ensure the success of this trial production, GXYH combined with the experience of trial production of 7XXX series super hard aluminum alloy hot-rolled coils and its own equipment capabilities, adjusted and optimized a number of key process parameters, and formed the final production process plan after many discussions. In the production process, all departments work together to strictly control various parameters, which provides a strong guarantee for the successful trial production of the product.
The 7XXX and 2XXX series aluminum alloy hot-rolled coils have been successfully trial-produced, which not only gives full play to the equipment advantages of the "1+4" hot tandem mill, but also further verifies the continuous improvement of GXYH's production capacity, which will provide the subsequent production of high-end and high-performance aluminum Alloy products provide strong support.
