Due to the competition of its products and its leading position in the industry, its performance has been rising year by year and its production capacity needs to be expanded. The company will invest 12 billion RMB to build the world's first Mini/Micro LED epitaxial and chip production line.
In July 2019, the project officially held a groundbreaking ceremony, and it is planned to be put into production in 2021.
The project is constructed in two phases, of which 6.5 billion yuan was invested in the first phase and 5.5 billion yuan in the second phase. A total of two mini LED production lines have been built, with an annual output of 2.1 million mini LEDs, 260,000 micro chips, and 84,000 4k display products with an annual output value of 7.2 billion yuan.
