Compared with ordinary infusion sets, the use of a higher-precision medical terminal filter can improve the purity of the drug, thereby reducing or avoiding adverse reactions.

Twenty years ago, WHZX started the research and development of high-precision terminal filters. By adapting the nuclear pore filter membrane-high-precision filter in the disposable infusion set, it ensures that the particles in the liquid medicine are filtered out to enter the human body.

WHZX is currently the only company in the country that has nuclear pore membrane technology, and nuclear pore membrane is the only filter membrane with high stability known in China. The company used this as a starting point to open up the subdivision field of China's precision filtering function input device.

Break through technical problems and develop dozens of products

"We can filter out the medicinal liquid particles with a pore size of 1.2 microns or more, the size of which is equivalent to one-tenth of the hair, and the smallest filter pore size can reach 0.22 microns." Hu Yubing said that the membrane material was once a technical difficulty.


At present, the company is also developing different types of high-precision filters for different liquid medicines and people, such as light-proof infusion sets developed for the treatment of tumor drugs.


According to statistics, there are currently about 28 types of products developed by enterprises, with about 200 to 300 types of specifications.


In the past two years, the R&D team has upgraded the first generation of products in combination with the problems in clinical infusion, and realized convenient operation technologies such as air-free and automatic liquid stop of the infusion set on the functional device.


Relying on continuous innovation in the field of precision filter infusion sets, the company's products are currently widely used in more than a thousand general hospitals across the country, and lead or participate in the drafting of China's precision filter infusion sets, light-proof infusion sets and other national industry standards.


Develop 2 to 3 new products every year to accelerate product iteration


R&D and innovation are the only rules for enterprise development. Hu Yubing told us that all WHZX products adhere to two major research and development directions. One is to improve the convenience of medical products and reduce the care intensity of medical staff, and the other is to further improve the safety of patients using medical devices.


With the continuous upgrading of the disposable medical consumables market and the increasing competition in sub-industry, only by accelerating innovation can we maintain strong competition. "Since last year, we have reorganized the company's R&D department and established a series of new product R&D teams to develop ‘specialized, special and new’ products in response to the needs of domestic clinical departments."

At present, the company has become the only manufacturer of infusion sets for nutrient solution with a registration certificate. In the future, it will focus on the improvement of the structure and flow of the filter, and will also apply the filter device to more fields.
