China’s leading photovoltaic precision mask-metal nickel mesh and display optical functional film manufacturer Hay:I03SZNH

SZNH Optical Materials Technology Corporation is committed to the R&D and industrialization of precision manufacturing of micro-nano functional structures and semiconductor mold opening technologies, especially photovoltaic precision masks and display optical functional films.

The company's core R&D team has deep accumulation in the research and industrialization of semiconductor technology and technology, clean new energy, and new thin-film materials. The core R&D personnel Dr. Xinghua Zhan and Dr. Fei Chen have many years of study abroad experience at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and have worked in Fuji Solar, Japan and Zinniatek in New Zealand. Since 2018, SZHN has declared and approved more than 20 domestic and foreign invention patents, and published more than 20 SCI journals and papers.

The metal nickel mesh applied to the photovoltaic screen is one of the company's core businesses. The manufacturing cost of solar cells is divided into silicon material cost and non-silicon cost. The solar cell relies on the grid lines printed on it to collect current, and the silver paste used in the electrode grid line material accounts for 40% of the non-silicon cost. -50%, so the thinner the structure of the electrode grid line, the more silver paste will be saved, and the power generation efficiency can be improved at the same time.

The electrode grid lines of the solar cell are "imprinted" on the cell through the photovoltaic screen. The traditional photovoltaic screen is composed of polyimide (PI) film and metal wire mesh. The silver paste is "printed" on the solar cells through the metal wire mesh and the openings of the PI film. However, in this imprinting mode, the silver paste will spread on both sides of the opening, causing waste. The overflowing silver paste will also cover part of the light-receiving surface of the silicon wafer and reduce the power generation efficiency.

SZNH has made innovations in photovoltaic screen and traditional screen printing technology from the bottom, directly using metal nickel mesh to replace PI film. Compared with traditional "imprinting" technology, this new process and design can obtain narrower electrode grid lines. At the same time, in the past, there were steel mesh knots in photovoltaic screen printing, which would cause unevenness on the top of the electrode grid line. The use of metal nickel mesh can solve this problem.

At present, the width of electrode grid lines in the photovoltaic industry is about 30 microns, and the new photovoltaic screen developed by SZNH can narrow the line width to less than 25 microns, saving silver paste. Compared with traditional photovoltaic screen technology, each photovoltaic cell can save 15%~25% of non-silicon cost.

This is a revolutionary technology for the photovoltaic industry. In the past, the core material (steel wire) in photovoltaic screens was monopolized by Japanese companies Asada, Smart, and CYANON.

If the supply of steel wire materials provided by Japanese companies is cut off, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells in China's photovoltaic industry may drop by 2%-3%.

The bottom-level innovation of photovoltaic screen printing brought by SZNH is a big step for the domestic replacement of the core materials of photovoltaic screen plates.

In addition to photovoltaic screen applications, the company also provides display optical functional films. Viewed from different angles of the display screen, there will be differences in brightness and color. SZNH has solved this pain point. At present, the technology and products have been applied to the leading medical screens, education screens and conference screens of China's commercial display. Independently master a complete set of intellectual property rights from plastic materials to production processes to optical structures, and are not subject to the patent restrictions of Japanese manufacturers that are subject to a global monopoly. It has significant technological innovation significance for the display functional film industry, and also breaks the monopoly of overseas related technologies and products.

At the same time, the company has established 8000 square meters of dust-free clean workshop, complete semiconductor mold production line, and nano imprint production line.

The company's newly built production base will be completed and put into production at the end of 2021, and the products will soon enter the market for mass supply.

The company has established cooperative relationships with many leading manufacturers in the photovoltaic industry in China, and signed orders worth more than 100 million yuan.
