On September 23, 2021, at the 22nd China International Mechanical and Electrical Products Expo, a robotic arm slowly dropped and inserted a thin needle into the needle tube, attracting crowds of onlookers. This assisting robot capable of completing such delicate operations was developed by WHHZ Intelligent Technology Corporation.
The displayed collaborative robot that can "thread through needles" can achieve a maximum precision of 2 filaments, which is 0.02 mm. The high-precision collaborative robot has a high degree of flexibility, accuracy and safety, and is mainly used to assist in the production of parts.
