"Body cover" refers to the welding assembly of body structure and cover, including front wing, door, hood, and trunk lid. At present, Chery Automobile Ordoschi has produced 25 automobile “body cover parts” using BTJT rare earth alloy plates, marking a major leap in BTJT's rare earth steel products from component supply to body manufacturing.
In the past 3 years, BTJT automotive steel research and production go hand in hand, continuously moving towards high-end, high value-added direction. BTJT has the world's advanced sheet production line, and strong international technology and R & D support, strict quality control system, complete and efficient sales and service system have provided strong support for the development of Baosteel Automotive Steel. From 2017 to 2019, the sales volume of BTJT automotive steel has increased year after year, and has been shortlisted as FAW, FAW, Shaanxi Automobile, Chery, BYD and other well-known domestic OEMs. Especially in June 2019, the holding of Baosteel's automotive steel product promotion meeting renewed the understanding of the excellent performance of Baosteel's rare-earth steel automotive plates for more than 160 users in 21 provinces and cities across the country.
At present, BTJT has signed a contract for testing Chery's 700 complete vehicles. BTJT material assembly test for 700 complete vehicles has been fully launched, laying a foundation for achieving the goal of covering Chery's Ordossky steel plate supply as soon as possible.
