On April 27, 2020, BJYY Advanced Materials Technology Group invested in the construction of a semiconductor material industrial park. The project aims to build a new material research and development and industrialization platform with international advanced level, and build 9 production lines of ultra-high purity rare metals and compounds, rare earth functional materials, high-end crystal materials and devices, covering the main business of the electromagnetic light sector of the enterprise. The research and development of integrated circuits, intelligent manufacturing and other fields urgently need key materials and industrialized manufacturing technologies.

The total investment of the project is about 1 billion yuan, covering an area of ​​about 254.8 mu. It is planned to be constructed in two phases.

The initial plan is to invest 385 million yuan, with a planned total area of ​​100 acres and a total construction area of ​​30,000 square meters, to build three major areas of ultra-high purity rare metals and compounds, rare earth functional materials, high-end crystal materials and devices. The 7 production lines of the first phase of the project all adopt new technologies, new processes, and new equipment independently developed by research and new materials in recent years, all representing the highest technological level of China in related fields.

The second phase of the project plans to invest 400 to 600 million yuan to build production lines for rare and precious metal recycling, white LED phosphors, high-end aluminum nitride powder, rare earth catalytic materials, zirconium-based ceramic materials, special physical compounds, and rare earth permanent magnet materials. It is expected that commercial production will gradually begin in 2022.
