Recently, China`s leading Polypropylene carbonate/PPC manufacturer, JLBD Chemical Group’s new carbon dioxide-based biodegradable plastic Polypropylene carbonate/PPC production line successfully achieved commercial production.
The project uses the third-generation synthesis technology of Polypropylene carbonate/PPC biodegradable plastic developed by the CC Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and uses the product formed by the reaction of propylene oxide and carbon dioxide with a catalyst under high temperature and high pressure environment. This scientific and technological achievement has the international leading level. After the industrialization of the project, it has not only found a practical solution for solving the world’s problem "white pollution", but also found the best way and method for the effective use of carbon dioxide.
