According to Lu Yong, the company's general manager, this glass cover sheet was successfully developed in about a year, and it has been greatly improved from adjusting the formula to the production process. After countless trials, the product strength can reach more than 600 MPa, which is better than ordinary The anti-irradiation cover glass is about 10 times higher. On the one hand, the solar cell of the space station is protected from the impact of harmful ions in space; on the other hand, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the solar cell is ensured, and the normal operation of the space station is ensured.
It is understood that in the first quarter of this year, Qinhuangdao Xingjian Company produced more than 300,000 high-strength radiation-resistant glass coverslips for China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
