Chinese Nano Ceramic Flat Ultrafiltration Membrane CFM company Invests 60 Million Euros to Establish Ultrafiltration Membrane Manufacturing Plant Hay:F07SHBA

SHBA to invest 1.08 billion yuan in the construction of a pressure tubular ceramic membrane project.

In January 2017, SHBA announced its acquisition of a 67.65% stake in German nano-flat ceramic ultrafiltration membrane company, and it is expected to invest 60 million euros (about 63 million US dollars) to establish a new ultrafiltration membrane manufacturing plant in Jiangsu. It is reported that the factory uses the most advanced process ceramic technology, and all ultrafiltration membranes will be produced according to German quality standards. The annual production of flat ceramic membranes in the first stage is about 60,000 square meters, and the annual output of the second stage completed this year is about 140,000 square meters.

Project Description

The ceramic ultrafiltration membrane AG has the world's leading nano-ceramic plate ultrafiltration membrane (CFM) technology. CFM can effectively filter and remove organic matter, suspended matter, toxic and harmful substances (such as radium, arsenic), microorganisms, algae and oil.

At present, CFM is widely used in domestic drinking water and sewage treatment projects, especially in the field of surface and groundwater treatment, the company has a remarkable performance.

For CFM, the most important market is the water supply and sewage treatment field, especially the water reuse field. CFM's target markets include petrochemical, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear power, steel, seawater desalination and other industries. The wastewater produced by these industries often has oil, radioactive elements, high organic concentrations, high total dissolved solids (TDS) content, and temperature. Higher characteristics, and these characteristics make general polymer film can not be widely used in these fields.

Practice has proved that the germany CFM treatment process is far superior to other filtration processes (such as sand filtration and polymer membrane filtration), which is specifically reflected in membrane flux, strength, life and operating cost.

CFM system

The CFM system combines the advantages of an inorganic asymmetric structure with an immersed flat membrane.

This advanced design makes the ceramic flat membrane have the double advantages of technology and economy, which makes it widely used in different water treatment fields. Based on the characteristics of ceramic flat membranes, ItN has developed a filtration and adsorption process that can effectively filter and remove radium, arsenic, cadmium, lead and other substances in water.

For example, the arsenic removal process (Cer @ Senic®) can provide a complete solution for small to medium-sized communities or large water plants. The pretreatment process converts soluble contaminants into particulate matter, which can be removed by CFM system filtration. During filtration, a mud cake layer forms on the membrane surface. Backwashing at regular intervals ensures that the membrane flux remains stable. The pH of the remaining sludge containing arsenate is neutral. Due to its insoluble nature, it can be easily separated from water.

The Cer @ Sorp® process is a process specifically designed to remove radium from groundwater. Similar to Cer @ Senic®, hydrated manganese oxide, when added to water, reacts with soluble radium and converts it into particulate matter. In Saudi Arabia's groundwater removal radium project, the removal rate of radium by the CFM system can reach 95-97%.
